IBM Cognitive Mobility
In 2017, we developed an interactive application together with the IBM IX team. The North American International Auto Show had created a new area called Automobili-D that featured 150,000 square feet of dynamic display communities. Automobili-D was created so that companies in the mobility sector could reach other businesses.
IBM announced a partnership with GM to add Watson cognitive analysis to OnStar. They wanted to showcase that capability to other automakers and potential customers of mobility platforms. The interactive application was created to showcase IBM’s Cognitive Mobility service. It used a story to dramatize how IBM’s Cognitive Mobility practice uses data to design unique moments that reinvent travel time and inform better decisions on the go.
The interactive was developed in Unity and made use of real-time 3D graphics and driven by gesture using a Leap Motion controller.
